Men own the fashion world and make the money. But personally I prefer the fashion photography done by women. Men tend to sexualise in their view of women, whereas women look more comprehensively at the way a female subject just is. Maybe it’s my personal preference in that I love the work of Nan Goldin or Hannah Starkey and it just follows from that.
